Sustainable camping

Our small-scale campsite is located in the middle of the nature of the Bourianne (Lot), far from major busy roads and pollution. We believe that we should treat this special place and its surroundings with care. We are therefore committed to the sustainable development of this campsite and ask our guests to help us with this.

Our and your commitments:

Waste: At the entrance of the campsite there is a sorting zone so that we and you can offer our waste as recyclable as possible. Green and kitchen waste can be taken to the compost heap.

Guests: During their stay, we make our guests aware of the contribution they can make to a better environment.

Short lines when purchasing: For the restaurant and camping shop, we work with local products as much as possible.

Maintenance: We only use certified ecological products for cleaning. Garden maintenance is done in an ecologically responsible manner. In the future we will therefore increasingly use electrical equipment. Weeds on the paths are removed in an environmentally friendly manner.

Moving around the campsite: We ourselves move around the campsite on foot for more than 90% of the cases. Guests are requested to park their car in the parking lot and to walk or cycle around the campsite. You are requested to drive as little as possible on the campsite by car.

Water: We collect rainwater and use it to water the plants and flowers on the campsite. We also use water-saving shower heads and dosing taps. The hot water supply is provided by a solar boiler. We also regularly check our water meters to detect and repair any leaks in time.

Energy: We use 100% green electricity and we also generate our own steam for the hot water supply of the sanitary building. More than 80% of the lamps are LED lamps and the lighting in the public areas is controlled by a motion sensor. There is no lighting at the campsite.

Your contribution to a sustainable stay:

  • Turn off the lights in your absence.
  • Don’t forget to turn off the light on the terrace of your holiday home when you go to bed.
  • Sort waste and use the camping compost bins.
  • Watch your water consumption.
  • Use the radiators in your rental only when necessary.
  • Choose local producers for your purchases.
  • Do not take your car to move around the campsite.
  • Use the washing machine’s economy program.
  • Deposit your used batteries in the waste bin at the reception.
  • Do not throw your waste in nature.
  • Do not use disposable tableware.
  • Only throw toilet paper in the toilet.
  • Respect the fauna and flora around you.
  • Use suntan lotion by the pool or river, as oil does not dissolve in water.
